Our Vision, Values and Aims were last collaboratively reviewed and updated during terms 3 and 4 of Session 25/26.

We are a school where everyone belongs, tries their best, and helps each other to succeed.

In Gairloch High School, children’s rights are at the heart of everything that we do. The school is one where everyone feels they belong and is supported to achieve their potential. Pupils, staff, parents and carers help each other grow, treat each other with respect and always try our best. We encourage everyone to be creative, open to new ideas, and confident in themselves. We value our history and support local language and culture. Pupils aim high and value learning so they are ready for the future and can make a positive difference in our community and the wider world.

Our Values

Across our school community, we don’t just talk about our values,  we show them every day.

Respect: We show respect by listening, understanding others, and valuing everyone’s voice.

Kindness: We show kindness by caring for others, including everyone, and helping when we can.

Across our school community, our aims guide what we do every day and are designed to help every pupil succeed.

We encourage, challenge and support pupils to do their best in school and gain the skills required for future work and life, providing additional help when required.
