Digital Safety (Parents/Carers)
At our school, we recognise that smartphones and the online world are a huge part of young people’s lives. They offer fantastic opportunities for learning, connection and creativity – but they can also bring challenges. We want to work together with parents and carers to help our children and young people use technology safely, responsibly and positively, both at home and in school.
This page is designed to share practical advice, resources and conversation starters to help families navigate digital life with confidence. From managing screen time and privacy settings to encouraging healthy online habits and kindness in digital spaces, our aim is to support you in helping your child make the most of technology while staying safe and balanced.
If you have a child protection concern please contact the local social work team on 01478 613 825. If you believe that there is imminent danger to someone, dial 999 and ask for the Police.
